Description of the picture :
Landscape in the Over after the Rain – Van Gogh. 1890. Oil on canvas. 72×90
In the picture “Landscape in the Over after the Rain” strikes the infinity of space. There is a feeling that not a person is looking at nature, but nature is looking at him. “Blue eyes of the gardens,” this metaphor Yuri Oleshi expresses the first impression of the canvas of Van Gogh as best as possible.
The image of a washed rain of the earth touches with transparency and freshness. Landscape is perceived as created by the immediate and naive children’s hand: an absurd wagon, and “card”, fragile white houses with bright carmine roofs, and a high horizon line, and thick smoke coming from the toy train pipe, it seems that this whole world, as if re-seen by an artist, created in front of the viewer.
