State Museum of contemporary art in Paris is one of the parts of the centre Georges Pompidou. In French the name of the Museum is: Musée national d’art moderne. The Museum occupies two floors in the centre, 4 and 5. It presents more than 60 000 works, including paintings, sculptures and other art forms. The Museum collection is constantly updated.
Along with the main exposition, the Museum often hosts temporary exhibitions that reflect the modern art of France, and often go beyond the traditional types of art.
