Museology has always been part of politics. Not coincidentally, many state museums, the entrance is free for visitors. Every country uses such a publicity stunt, telling my story in the most exciting light, attracting tourists from around the world. If so does the government, private entrepreneur God himself commanded to do the same.
The perfume Museum in Paris is located near the Grand Opera. The owner of the Museum and perfume company with a very loud name “Fragonard”. The Museum itself is not very big and, relatively, it can be divided into three parts.
The exposition of the Museum
Part one – the history of the perfumery, technology, composition, etc. This is the main exposition of the Museum. Interesting will be everything from cards, which listed those countries from which bring the different fragrant raw material for spirits, the incredible stills (frankly, more like an exquisitely made moonshine). A large collection of vials, bottles, bottles of the most incredible configurations, made from the most unexpected materials. And all this wealth is located in the halls of the mansion, with antique furniture. The smell in the Museum is so dense and complex that many people start to sneeze and cough, someone even head starts to hurt. Fortunately, the tour is fast enough.
The second part of the Museum interior, expensive gadgets, interior decoration. It is not clear how this exposition is connected with the main theme of the Museum, but the exhibits themselves will doubtless appeal to many.

The third part of the store. Pass it did not. Jewelry, “trifles” of precious metals with the Department for perfumes, clothing (cotton and silk wraps) and many other things with the company logo. Of course, here you can buy and the perfume that you already learn a lot. The guide will tell you that all the famous fragrances from leading perfume manufacturers “borrowed” from the company’s home Museum. It is impossible to verify, since your nose up to this moment will want only peace, shocked by the abundance of smells.
The store offers a whole set of 5 odors (300 euros), a small bottle (15 ml – € 26), the average bottle (30 to 60 ml from 37 to 55 euros), large bottles (120 ml – 85 euros). Sellers solemnly swear that the more persistent and subtle aromas nowhere to be found. If we are to be honest to the end, you lie. The quality of the product is low.
The Museum is open seven days a week. Guided tours are held constant. To pay for a visit to the Museum is not necessary. All revenues of the institution depend on the store. So this is where the guide is trying the most.
Paris – great city, in which so much interesting, except the Museum “Fragonard”. Of course, you can go there to hear many interesting things. But to buy there just do not worth it.
